Preparing Your Pet For Adoption

Make sure your pet is:

  • Spayed or Neutered. If they are not, please call Humane Society of the Piedmont Spay, Neuter and Wellness Clinic to schedule a surgery.
  • Up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health
  • Clean and groomed

Take Good Photos & Write a Strong Description

  • Take 3-5 good, high quality, digital photos of your pet
  • Write your pet’s bio, describing its personality and habits. Include if it gets along with other dogs and/or cats and children. Be sure to include habits that need to be worked on.
